MICE MICE MICE!!

So it is official...we have mice! If you remember in my first blog I talked about my traumatic experience of finding a small little dying mouse in my kitchen the morning after a great concert with my best friends. Well on Halloween, another little mouse was found by my roommates. The little guy was just staring at her while she was relaxing in her bed. EWWW!!!! Of course she starting screaming which led me to start screaming even though I was all the way in the living room watching a movie. I knew as soon as I heard the screams what was going on. A mouse. Halloween was a rough time for me. I immediately had a panic attack knowing there was a little creature running around my apartment. My roommate had to carry me while I was crying to the bathroom so I could brush my teeth! I know it is stupid to have your greatest fear be a tiny little mouse but it is my fear. I can't help that I had a bad experience with a mouse when I was young. Ever since then I am petrified of mice. I went to sleep that night scared. The next morning I went to work and made an effort not to go back to the apartment until it was time for bed. When I finally got home around 11 p.m. I was surprised to see my friend D.J. who lives upstairs in the apartment with one of my roommates. It was such a relief to learn that D.J. caught the mouse and set him free a few blocks away. I can't explain my excitement. I felt free once again in my own apartment. I no longer felt like a victim!
