I personally *HATE* Internet Explore for number of reasons. And they are not important. BUT THIS IS!
According to BBC News article, there are "Serious security flaw found in IE." We knew that IE had security flaw but if this is true, this is very bad.
It mentioned that newer version of IE allows hacker to steal username and passwords.

There are number of alternative browsers out there. Check out: http://www.webdevelopersnotes.com/design/browsers_for_windows.php3
I personally like Firefox, Safari, and Opera on Windows.
I'm very sure you'll find one that works the best for you that is not IE! Before you download any browsers, please make sure to read release notes and security updates.
