Currently, Leopard is a bit confused. Here is my findings.
Meeting Maker doesn't know when move the date through "schedule". It complains that it is past dates and can't schedule a meeting on past dates, even though I am scheduling for year 2008. Well, go check your email and go back to the same screen. Now it'll say "1990". Where did that come from?

Meeting Maker FORGETs the agenda when other tabs are selected and go back to details. Once you have type your agenda in and clicks on tab either schedule or options, do not go back to details. This will cause it to loose agenda...
MacFuse sshfs application crashes (http://code.google.com/p/macfuse/). Not only that, it actually managed to screw with transparency of docks...

After this, finder showed half iChat logo twice for Dictionary application.

This was on Here and Now this afternoon through WBUR. I thought I should share it with you. http://www.here-now.org/shows/2007/11/20071127.asp
Two researchers make the case against the idea of a "glass ceiling," a metaphor for a monolithic obstacle facing women as they climb the corporate ladder. Alice Eagly and Linda Carli write that women face a labyrinth instead. Did you know that marriage and parenthood are associated with higher wages for a man, but not for a woman worker? And what happens when a woman executive is assertive? Research shows it can reduce her chances for getting a job or advancing in her career.

I'm glad that migraine is being investigated as a neurological disorder and not a vascular disease. If it were truly vascular, wouldn't it affect other parts of your body? You'd have a "migraine" in your ankle, for example...
Migraine pain is absoultely awful, and the stigma attached to the symptoms and treatment does not help things, either. There aren't many options for people for prevention, and abortive medications are saddled with unpleasant side effects (rebound headaches, possible changes in vision).
Now, if I could convince the director of my department that her admin actually has a thick brain bit, and that's why the strobe light from the fire alarm makes her queasy, well, that would be a big win for me.

You know you're from Massachusetts if...
-Khakis are something you start the car with
-You think crosswalks are for wimps
-You think if someone's nice to you, they either want something or they're from out of town and probably lost
-You know how to cross 4 lanes of traffic in 5 seconds
-You are amazed when traveling out of town that people who work at McDonald's actually speak English
-You think it's not actually tailgating unless your bumper is touching the car in front of you
-You know that a yellow light means at least 5 more cars can get through ... and that a red light means 2 more can
-A Crown Victoria = Undercover Cop
-The transportation system is known as the "T"
-Subway is a fast food place
-You could own a small town in Iowa for the cost of your house
-There are 24 Dunkin Donuts shops within 15 minutes of your house
-When people talk about the "curse of the Bambino," you know exactly what they are talking about, and you believe in it too... or, did :)
-You think of Rhode Isla ... more »

Thanks to Aaron in Technology! I brought my laptop by to see if we could figure out why it didn't want to connect to the wifi in Java City. It connects now, yay! Still not 100% sure what caused it to not want to connect to the wifi, but it connects, and that's what I care about.
Right in time for break. At least I'll be able to bring my computer next week when I need it.

In October Apple acknowledged a problem with the new silver iMacs freezing after an update was installed.
Not all silver iMacs need the update, click on the link below for more information:

"When Mac users need to create a database, they turn to FileMaker Pro more often than not. But for less complex tasks—cataloging the media you own, managing contacts, or keeping tabs on a project—an individual user firing up FileMaker is a bit like grabbing a hammer when you need a flyswatter. It’s overkill."
