People say " a picture is worth a thousand words". To me, an outfit is higher in value compared to a picture because you have the authority to create and change something that is tangible. You have a variety of options to construct a look. You can choose to wear a hat, boots, bracelets, shorts, earrings, etc. BCBG MAXAZRIA is one of my favorite places because you can find anything that can shape an outfit in a single store. Their collections in every season relate to me due to their simplistic and unique designs. The best factor about this label is that the designer is highly recognized in the fashion world , but at the same time, the BCBG line is made to be affordable to almost everyone.
I recommend everyone to check out the BCBG website!

One of my favorite types of photography is fashion photography. Photographers in the fashion industry are the most creative and innovative people. They stretch the imagination in ways that would make a picture actually worth not a thousand, but a million words. If you watch America's Next Top Model, then you would most probably relate to the amazing procedure of producing a breath taking picture. I will post some of my favorite fashion photography pictures once i figure out how to do that!

I don't know about you guys, but the way I get dressed everyday somehow matches my mood or simply just what I feel like wearing on that day. Moreover, sometimes I crave to pull off that preppy look; which is kind of hard to pull off. For instance, once I bought a Ralph Lauren jacket, and then a few days later I started to notice that the jacket made me look ten times older. The failure of pulling off the jacket preppy look made me want to pull that look together even more. Then I started to walk on Newbury Street and a miracle was just placed right in front of my face. It was as if God really answered my question. I stared at the sign "RUGBY" for about two full minutes before I entered. Rugby is a Ralph Lauren collection that is more youthful and fresh. And so, if you want to get an outfit that has that cool preppy look, go to Rugby.

Ok ... so it is still October 18 and winter has already invaded Boston. At 1 pm, I went outside and got attacked by rain, snowflakes, and wind. I honestly didn't know that forces of nature could be that powerful by this time of the year. The question is: how do we protect ourselves from the natural devils of Boston?
Answer: Zara
Zara is a clothing store for men and women. There is a wide selection of high quality items that would help you survive Boston's winter. The great thing about this place is that all the clothing items are well made and simultaneously cheap. And so, if you are looking for scarfs, boots, hats, gloves, and coats; enter Zara.

Before and during the beginning of Gossip Girl, young miss Taylor Momsen portrayed that typical innocent American girl look. Now, each time we watch a new episode on GG Momsen's look becomes more intense, and not in a good way. As the story of GG progresses, Momsen adds more black eyeliner and more blonde into her hair. The Fashion Police went insane when Momsen attended the premier of the movie The Stepfather in a complete goth look which made her look 10 years older.
Check out her new look at the premiere here:

If you are looking to shop at a one- of- a- kind boutique store in Boston that won't get you broke, then I have the answer for you. The LF Store on Newbury Street is an all women store that has everything you can ever think of. Celebrities like Lauren Conrad are big fans of this store because its branding is eccentric and wonderful.
Visit http://www.lfstores.com to check it out, or just pass by 353 Newbury St.
I recommend this place to everyone because whichever style you are looking for, you can find it here.

Online shopping can be a good way to spend your money on clothing. Through the internet, you can find a variety of brands by just pressing a few keys, and it doesn't consume a lot of time. You are also more likely to find what you are looking for in cheaper prices since there are always sales going on the net. Two of my favorite sites are: Topshop and Victoria's Secret. You can find a variety of styles and items that are very fashionable, comfortable, and affordable.

Producer R.J Cutler showed us the immense power that Anna Wintour (editor in chief of Vogue) holds within the fashion industry. I watched "the September Issue" about four days ago, and I was very impressed by Cutler's execution of the documentary because it included both the personal side and the work side of Anna. It was also entertaining to see a world renowned figure like Yves Saint Laurent shake and struggle out of intimidation from Anna. The documentary shows the whole process of the making of the Vogue September Issue of 2007, which is the largest issue of a magazine to be ever published. The cover of the magazine is that of Sienna Miller. The documentary is also full of humor because it shows you how people talk behind each other's backs, stress out, and at the end pull it all together into something flawless.

A few days ago, my friend and I were walking around Newbury Street. We didn't exactly have a destination, and so we were just having numerous conversations while enjoying the breezy sunny weather. Then somehow we both stopped simultaneously when we saw a beautiful window display of unique clothing that we did not recognize. The sign read: Pinkyotto...Sale,buy one get one free! And so we decided to invade this store. I was amazed by the collection because it was chic and different. I have never been to a Pinkyotto store, but somehow I felt that I knew the designers because the patterns, cuts, and combinations of the colors were so new and original. I guess it was a lucky day for the both of us because we both ended up buying a dress and chose another without paying a cent. Therefore, if you are sick of shopping around the same places and have the urge to discover a fresh store, Pinkyotto is your best shot.

Boston is an artistic city, and the people themselves have given the city this characteristic. Some of the arts that we see in Boston are new, while others have survived centuries. On New Year's Day 1903, the Gardener Museum opened up and the people of Boston experienced art through all their senses. I consider the Gardner Museum a home, not a museum. Museums to me are more formal and stiff, but the Gardner Museum is cozy and you can actually feel that people have lived here and left us the gift of art. Every single corner in the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum is significant and detailed. The garden in the museum collaborates with the colored walls and the honey-colored stairs. Art in all its forms exists here. The architecture of the museum gives the museum its charm.
The Gardner Museum has also experienced a big theft mystery that still remains unsolved. In 1990, art thieves entered the museum and tied up the security guards. They walked out with 13 pieces including the Storm on th ... more »
