Biggest Pet Peeve with Apple's Leopard

Sometimes Apple changes things for the better and sometimes they take a good thing and change it.
Change is good, change is necessary, but if it isn't broken then don't fix it.

One of my biggest pet peeves with Apples new OS is the dock changes and Stacks.

I like my dock on the left hand side of the screen. But when I put it there the system acts all flakey
and pinwheels and delays. It also loses the sleek new transparency and look. The fix is to put the dock back on the bottom of the screen.

More importantly, I could right click on a folder in the dock and get a hierarchical popup of the contents.
Really, cool, really nice, makes migrating through a lot of nested folders easier and quicker. Leopard's introduction of Stacks wrecked that functionality.

Don't get me wrong, Stacks is a good thing, but I don't understand why Apple had to get rid of something useful and good for something new. Instead of just having the option to "Fan" or "Grid" why not have a 3rd option, "hierarchical" for those of us who don't mind change, but like to keep what works well along the way.
