Berklee College of Music to host high profile Business of Hip-Hop Symposium
On Wednesday February 20, 2008 Berklee College of Music will host the second annual Business of Hip-Hop Symposium in two parts. Sponsored by The Music Business/ Management Department, The Office for Cultural Diversity, and The Office of Academic Affairs, the Symposium will bring top-tier industry professionals to the campus. his event, initiated in 2007, serves as an educational forum that explores business and social issues pertaining to Hip-Hop, and creates an exchange of ideas and information.
PART ONE: The Choice is Yours
The David Friend Recital Hall at 4:00PM.

How long will you live?
Well, I calcuated how long I "may" live using life expectancy calculator from http://www.livingto100.com.
I guess I'll live to 91 if I don't get hit by mc track and don't reverse my bad habits...
Just note: I'm not a doctor or fortune teller, but I think I'll die WAY before 91 years of age the way things are going. Those who you know me you probably agree with me...

When assumptions and stereotypes influence our attitudes, we may find making a fair judgment about someone or something difficult. What we believe to be objective action may be reinforced by unconscious bias. In this session, we will unpack the causes of unconscious bias and learn to recognize it, check for it, and with practice, minimize its influence on our decisions. Be prepared for a hands-on thinking and learning experience.
Dr. Robbin Chapman is a diversity consultant based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Dr. Chapman has worked on diversity-related issues since 1996, and leads diversity recruitment, retention, and strategic change management for the MIT School of Architecture and Planning.
