I am very excited to tell you that Hilary Duff has a new movie coming out soon. I love Hilary Duff, and am thrilled that she is currently doing independent movies. "Greta" is the name of the film. There is no official release date yet for the movie, but should be announced within the month.
The film stars Duff as main character, sarcastic and dark 17-year-old Greta. Oscar winner Ellen Burstyn plays the role of Greta's grandmother who she goes to stay with for the summer in New Jersey (or Siberia, as Greta calls it). Melissa Leo, another Oscar winner plays the supporting role of Greta's estranged mother. Newcomer Evan Ross (grandson of Diana Ross) plays Greta's love interest in the film.
I'll be the first to admit Hilary Duff hasn't made Oscar-worthy movies in the past (Lizzie Mcguire Movie, anyone?) but I really do like Hilary Duff and think she is a very talented actress. And yes I have been to two of her concerts. The film looks pretty dark from the previews I have seen, but it loo ... more »

Most of you may have seen this video already as it has been a fixture in the news and all over the web. I just had to share it on here for those who haven’t seen it or heard about her. This is Susan Boyle’s audition for “Britain’s Got Talent.” She is a 47 year old unemployed woman who admits in the interview that she has never been kissed. She tells the judges that she dreams of being like Elaine Paige, a famous English actress and singer who does mostly musical theatre. The audience and the judges both laugh at her, and it shows people in the audience rolling their eyes and scoffing. Then she sings...
I think that this woman reminded a lot of people, myself included, that looks aren’t everything and people aren’t always what they seem at first. What makes this performance so incredible to me is the emotion in Boyle’s voice while she sings “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables. As a self described musical lover, I can tell you that it is one of the best versions o ... more »

I am a television lover who will give any show a try at least once. Because of my extreme love for television shows, it is always nearly impossible for me to choose my "favorites."
After much internal debate, I have come up with my top 5 favorite shows of all time (most of which are no longer on the air.) They are in no particular order, because that truly is impossible for me to do. It's kind of how I imagine picking a favorite child would be...
1) Las Vegas- this show was revolutionary in the way it used camera angles to literally allow viewers to see things from the surveillance camera's point of view. Takes place in the fictional Las Vegas casino & resort, The Montecito. All star cast including Josh Duhamel, the great James Caan, Vanessa Marcil, Molly Sims and James Lesure. The musical guests throughout the four seasons of the show never dissapoint.
2) Dawson's Creek- because who doesn't love the late 90's/early 2000's and its fabulous melodramatic teen hour drama's? Set back ... more »

It’s no secret to anyone who knows me at all how much I love/am slightly obsessed with Chelsea Handler. For those of you who may not have heard of her/have been living under a rock, she is a comedian who has her own late night show on the E! network every night at 11 PM called, “Chelsea Lately.”
I have never been a fan of comedians, to be honest. There are very few that I find legitimately funny. Ellen Degeneres is the only other comedian that I find funny, although she and Handler have a very different style/type of humor.
I discovered Chelsea Handler about a year ago when I caught some of her sketches on Youtube along with reruns of, “Chelsea Lately.” I was surprised at how funny I found her and quickly began watching her show every night. Although her sketches are pretty funny, to me, she is at her prime when interviewing whatever celebrity guest she has on at the time. Those are the unscripted parts and she is absolutely hilarious.
She has a very sarcastic sense of hum ... more »
