Today I updated my profile and learned the following:
1. Pilot is very picky about photo size - need to make my (default) photo smaller. No message about why it failed to upload, either; just the small message below the box where you put the photo's URL. Might be frustrating to someone who is tech-phobic.
2. Couldn't get the mark-down for an unordered list to work; the usual html mark-up does work.
3. You make a friend my clicking on the icon (column 3) in the list of all bloggers. The icon changes from blue to yellow. Kim asked about why one would do this. I think the answer is to get notified about any new blogs they post.

that one should write articles, not blogs. (He admits that blogs have a use, but says that real experts write articles.)
