So it is official...we have mice! If you remember in my first blog I talked about my traumatic experience of finding a small little dying mouse in my kitchen the morning after a great concert with my best friends. Well on Halloween, another little mouse was found by my roommates. The little guy was just staring at her while she was relaxing in her bed. EWWW!!!! Of course she starting screaming which led me to start screaming even though I was all the way in the living room watching a movie. I knew as soon as I heard the screams what was going on. A mouse. Halloween was a rough time for me. I immediately had a panic attack knowing there was a little creature running around my apartment. My roommate had to carry me while I was crying to the bathroom so I could brush my teeth! I know it is stupid to have your greatest fear be a tiny little mouse but it is my fear. I can't help that I had a bad experience with a mouse when I was young. Ever since then I am petrified of mice. I ... more »

This past weekend was a total chill out weekend for me and my two roommates. All three of us vowed after a busy week that we would just hang out, clean, and watch movies all weekend. Before my roommates and I went home for the very short Thanksgiving break we all got together to make our own version of a "college student's Thanksgiving meal." We all pitched in and bought a baby turkey from Shaws that we in turn of course named Tiny Tom Turkey! We also made stuffing, butternut squash and mashed potatoes to go with out delicious little turkey.
I have always wanted to try and make my own Thanksgiving meal after years of watching my mom or aunts prepare the meal for our whole family. It was really a great experience for us to come together and try doing this on our own.
Now don't get me wrong it was great, but I do have to say that my mom's turkey came out much better than ours did! But it's okay because as I said before we had fun making and eating our feast!
