Simmons Builds in Waynesburg

The Simmons Builds team will spend spring break in Waynesburg, PA, where they will volunteer to build houses with Habitat for Humanity. Laini Cassis '14, Naomi Chick '14, and Meghan O'Beirne '12 will lead the team of 12 students in hard work such as tearing out floors, removing and securing beams, interior and exterior framing, installing windows.

Past trip destinations include Harrisburg, PA, St. Petersburg, FL, Hattiesburg, MS and Pittsburgh, PA. Fundraising efforts to support this venture started this week with a bake sale.
