Clinical Supervisor for Clinical Stabilization Services

Responsible and accountable for the day to day clinical services in our 22 bed CSS/Clinical Stabilization Service at Women's Renewal at Dimock. 

Responsibilites of the Job:

  • Provide individual and group supervision in accordance with program license to the Clinical Staff of the Clinical Stabilization Service at Women's Renewal program. Provide clinical consultation to other program staff as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to integrate case management and client centered interventions. Assist in providing monthly clinical training to Recovery Specialist in coordination with the Program Director. 
  • Oversee Clinical staff schedule and assure appropriate coverage on unit. Oversee daily client group schedule on unit to assure adequate number and type of groups provided on unit are in compliance with standard of care according to license. Participate in rotation of providing client groups in program.
  • Screen and coordinate client referrals to Women's Renewal program, work with aftercare coordinator and other staff to assure proper after care needs in keeping with treatment plan goals. Coordinate with Intake coordinator, after care coordinator, and Program Director to assure smooth process for meeting census goals of program. Facilitate daily utilization meetings to assure communication and coordination of staff.
  • Monitor and review client cases, supervise treatment planning, and assure proper documentation in client charts to assure compliance with DPH and Joint Commission regulations and standards of care. Assure timely completion and submitting of Quality Assurance data to Director of Clinical Services.
  • Provide on-call support.
  • Attend Behavioral Health Mangers meeting and other meetings both internal and external as required or needed.
  • Provide leadership for the daily functioning of the program and participate in program development in conjunction with the program Director.
  • Reports to Program Director of Clinical Stabilization program.
  • Other duties as needed.

Requirements of the job:

Education and Experience

  • Master's degree
  • License required: LADCI, LMHC, LICSW OR LICNESED PSYCH  3-5 years related Clinical Supervision & leadership experience in human services.
  • Knowledgeable about addictions, recovery, co-occurring mental health issues and trauma informed care.
  • Prior experience with acute residential treatment preferred.

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate in an articulate manner to leadership and staff
  • Computer competency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to monitor and incorporate details of day to day operations into overall strategic plan.
  • Ability to be flexible and to juggle multiple priorities
