Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

Provide clinical support to program managers, case managers and direct support staff for six residential homes serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree in Social Work; Five+ years experience required; familiarity with DDS service delivery system, experience working with families and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, knowledge of principles of behavior management, ability to work within and among complex systems and advocate for client needs.  Ability to work effectively on an interdisciplinary team, and with complex, diverse populations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide clinical support to program managers, case managers and direct support staff for six residential homes serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Provide support and guidance for parents, guardians and other invested family members as needed on an ongoing basis.
  • Assess staff clinical training needs; provide and/or secure staff training as determined by identified needs of families and clients served.
  • Design and implement group services based on assessed needs of each individual based on best practices.
  • Work effectively as a member of the organization's interdisciplinary management team.
  • Provide supervision and structure for master level social work students, increasing agency capacity and providing educational opportunities for students.
  • Advocate for client services on an as-needed basis.
