Residential Program Director - Young Adults

Vinfen supports thousands of adolescents and adults with psychiatric, developmental, and behavioral disabilities at more than 300 sites with 2,700 employees in eastern Massachusetts and Connecticut.

We are looking for a compassionate, caring, dynamic Residential Program Director to oversee the operational, financial and administrative operations of a group home designed the meet the needs of adults living with psychiatric disabilities in --. The program is designed assist clients in overcoming barriers to living independently.

The Program Director (PD) will oversee the operational, financial and administrative operations of a cooperative residential program. The PD provide leadership and consultation to clients and staff on a completing functional and strengths based assessments and implementing Individual Action Plans (IAP). Additionally, the PD will supervise program staff and ensure that contract specifications and program regulations are followed.

We will be offering a $2,000 sign on bonus for this position; $1,000 paid out after successfully completing orientation and $1,000 paid out after 6 months of successful employment.

Requirements

To succeed in this role you will have strong organizational skills, strong writing skills and 1-2 years prior Human Services Management experience. A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field preferred, but experience may substitute for education. All candidates for this position must be at least 21 years of age and have held a valid US driver's license for a minimum of 1 year and be able to satisfactorily pass both a driving check and a CORI check. Candidates for this position must be able to become CPR and First Aid certified within 90 days of employment and MAP certified within 150 days of employment. 

The schedule for this position is generally Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. However, based on the needs of the program flexible hours may be needed at times. On-call responsibilities on a rotational basis.
