Licensed Psychiatric Rehabilitation Coordinator

Each year, Vinfen provides a comprehensive array of services to adolescents and adults with psychiatric conditions, developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and behavioral health challenges. Vinfen's 2,700 dedicated employees are experienced, highly-trained professionals who provide a full range of supportive living, health, educational, and clinical services in more than 200 programs throughout eastern Massachusetts and Connecticut.

We are looking for compassionate, caring, dynamic staff to provide outreach services to clients living with psychiatric conditions in Boston, MA. Working as part of a Collaborative Action for Recovery (CAR) team, the Rehab Coordinator will provide community-based rehabilitation, support and supervision services to adults living in Boston with mental illness and receiving services under the Department of Mental Health's Community Based Flexible Supports (CBFS) model. Using rehabilitation values, principles and techniques the Rehab Coordinator will provide consultation to both clients and team members on completing functional and strengths-based assessments and implementing Individual Action Plans (IAP), rehabilitation goals and intervention strategies. The Rehabilitation Coordinator will also assist the CAR Team leader in maintaining documentation tracking systems to ensure adherence to state and federal documentation standards. 

This is a fast paced, community based position geared toward helping clients engage in the recovery process and become a part of their community. Using a motivational interviewing and strengths based rehabilitation approach, outreach workers engage with clients and help them evaluate their current life circumstances compared to their hopes, dreams and plans for the future. 

Schedule:

4 days 8 am-4 pm, 1 day 12:00 pm- 8:00 pm
Rotating weekends-every 5th weekend

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role you will have good time management skills, good writing skills, strong organizational skills and 3-5 years Human Services experience. A Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field required along with licensure (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC). All candidates for this position must be at least 21 years of age and have held a valid US drivers license for a minimum of one year and be able to satisfactorily pass a driving check. MAP certification must be obtained within 150 days and First Aid and CPR within two weeks. Additionally, this position requires a fully insured vehicle that you will use in the course of your daily work. You must be willing to transport clients in your vehicle. All candidates for this position must also be able to successfully pass a CORI check.
