Residential Counselor

CFP's spectrum of community living programs includes the Staffed Residential, Independent Living (IL), and Community Transitions programs. CFP provides youth in the Teen Commuity Living Program with the skills they need in order to be productive members of their communities when they leave our care.

The Teen Community Living Programs' goals are to help youth:

Develop real-life problem solving skills
Create permanent adult connections in the community
Achieve their educational aims
Prepare youth for employment and careers

Residential Counselors sought to work with at risk adolescents (16-21yrs old) in our community based program. Counselors will be responsible in implementing individualized service plans which will maximize a youth's self-sufficiency. Our entry-level position will grant you exposure to the State's child welfare system and develop your skills for a rewarding career.

Full-time, Part-time, and Relief Positions available.

Qualifications:

BS in human services or related field preferred. Must have a current valid Driver's license. MAP certification preferred, otherwise CFP will offer certification because it is required.
