Bay Cove Human Services Program Director Urgent Care Center in Fall River, MA.
Responsibilities: Hires, orients, trains, supervises, and evaluates all clinical, per diem, and administrative staff in the UCC and Mobile Team Responsible for program planning, development, evaluation, and ongoing improvement of services Develops and monitors program budget, ensures that resources are maximized, and that program services are operated within budgetary parameters Ensures services are provided consistent with best practice standards for emergency behavioral health services. Provides on-call consultation to the Mobile Team and Urgent Care Center Provides for staff training and ongoing professional development Maintains effective working relationships with local Emergency Departments, police, inpatient resources, schools, diversionary community resources, and treatment/rehabilitation programs. Ensures that clients receive comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, interventions, and referrals that ensure for their safety and resolution of the presenting crises Reviews all critical and adverse incidents and implements quality improvement initiatives that promote continual program improvements Ensures that staffing patterns and schedules are in keeping with programmatic needs Ensures that documentation systems are comprehensive, meet requisite standards as outlined by the lead agency, MBHP, and DMH, and are routinely maintained Works collaboratively with members of the BEST team and collateral helpers in the service of strengthening and integrating support and treatment supports and to accomplish the overall program's mission Performs all other duties and projects as assigned by his/her supervisor
Qualifications: Licensed Master's level clinician Minimally ten years experience in the delivery of behavioral health services to people in crisis, five years of these as a supervisor/manager of such services Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills Current Massachusetts Driver's License
