Day Treatment Clinician

Seeking an organized, energetic, and thoughtful Day Treatment Clinician!

MSW, LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT encouraged to apply!

Primary responsibilities include leading a variety of groups, providing assessment, treatment planning and case management for adults with serious psychiatric conditions and Dual Diagnosis. With a focus on mental health recovery and empowerment, this position provides the opportunity to research, develop and lead groups.

Specific duties include:

  • Conduct group psychotherapy, psychoeducational, and expressive therapy sessions
  • Engage clients in groups by offering exciting, challenging, and appropriate treatment
  • Assess client needs and work with staff to research, revise, or develop new groups, as required
  • Provide crisis intervention and 1:1 counseling as needed
  • Document client progress in professional , timely manner and maintain client records
  • Consult with staff regarding individualized treatment goals and crisis planning
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the therapeutic milieu to help clients remain focused on their treatment
  • Conduct intake assessments
  • Consult with Medical Director in weekly rounds
  • Consult with clients' individual therapists and prescribers, as needed
  • Participate in supervision and in-service trainings

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Part Time opportunities also available)
