Program Manager scatter-site Shelter Programs

The Program Manager- scattered-site Shelter Programs manages an emergency assistance (EA) scattered-site program(s) with the overall responsibility for service delivery to homeless families with the ultimate objective of assisting families with achieving economic viability and stable housing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manages the day-to-day operations of the programs insuring adequately staffed at all times
• Maintains records and assures client confidentiality
• Assures the integrity of the facility and ensures standards for safety and sanitation are maintained
• Makes certain that all local, state and federal codes are observed and that all operations comply with the applicable laws and donor requirements
• Supervises shelter staff and evaluates performance with guidance from the Director of Services
• Oversees the delivery of client services, makes assessments of program impact and recommends program/policy changes. Assists with grant requests
• Oversees the volunteer program and supervises activities of interns
• Participates in committee meetings of the Board of Directors as requested
• Prepares a variety of regular and special reports for the Executive Director and Director of Services
• Participates in fund raising programs as requested. Cultivates donors and funders within the local community
• Assists in the development and monitoring of program budget. Ensures compliance with agency's purchasing/procurement policies
• Adhere to all agency and program policies, procedures and rules
• Performs all other reasonable related duties as assigned by the Director of Services and/or Executive Director

Requirements:
• Experience: Three years' experience or equivalent experience in human services
• Education: Bachelor's/Master's Degree, with major in Human Service or related field preferred
• Administrative and supervisory experience 
• Excellent communication skills- written and oral; creative; able to work independently and in team; ability to handle crisis and public relations.
• Must be able to occasionally ascend/descend stairs up to three or more sets, frequently move equipment weighing up to 15 lbs., must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. 

Salary: $48,000
