Social Worker Limited Non-Career Appointment (LNA) positions

Psychiatric Social Worker LNAs serve overseas in high threat posts such as Afghanistan, Iraq, and Pakistan. They have multifaceted responsibilities in the U.S. Embassy that include, but are not limited to, the assessment of psychiatric issues, conflict resolution, consultation on violence in the workplace, and crisis management training. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for crisis intervention, problem assessment, and short-term counseling for employees.
