Anti-Defamation League's Facilitator

Located in the New England Region, the Facilitator will lead anti-bias training and education programs for students, school staff and parents/families on a per-diem basis. As a leading provider of anti-bias education, ADL's A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE® Institute recognizes that attitudes and beliefs affect actions, and that each of us can have an impact on others, and ultimately, on the world in which we live. A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE® Institute workshops address bias, prejudice and discrimination based on race, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity, gender, age, national origin, and ability. The Institute's customizable, interactive training programs are implemented in pre-K -12 schools and community organizations throughout the United States and abroad.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Lead half-, full- and multi-day anti-bias training and education workshops (must be available for at least six week days per school year).
 Attend bi-annual per-diem Facilitator professional development meetings.
 Prepare for workshops and facilitation in advance.

QUALIFICATIONS:
 Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field.
 Ability to fully attend four-day Train-The-Trainer (TTT) program (dates TBD, Summer 2018).
 Ability to complete facilitation observation and apprenticeship following the TTT.
 Previous training and facilitation experience.
 Previous work with anti-bias and diversity curricula or training strongly preferred.
 Previous experience in the education field a plus.
 Proven understanding of and commitment to social justice.
 Excellent communication skills.
 Multilingual a plus.
 Strong facilitation and public speaking skills.
