Intake Manager and Clinician Coordinator

This central role in our thriving practice is the person who manages all aspects of welcoming clients into our practice: screening them for clinical appropriateness, educating them about how our practice works, collecting and setting up their insurance information, and managing the match with the clinician they assign to the case. This person also assists in the entry of new clinicians to the practice, by assisting with their credentialing with insurance companies, overseeing re-credentialing, and guiding the administrative portion of ensuring that their caseloads are well matched, balanced, and robust.

The ideal candidate for this position will be an LCSW or person with other significant training in mental health and clinical skills, who is highly-organized, highly personable, and likes figuring out solutions to complex problems. This person should have a passion for helping people, as well as a sense of how powerful and effective clinical services at this level can be.
This is an ideal role for someone interested in being a part of a dynamic and fast-growing organization with an exceptional clinical team and a wonderful community of clients in two geographic areas, Roslindale and Framingham. The role is currently located in Roslindale, but we are open to the candidate being based in our Framingham location. Some travel between the two locations is required.

Role requirements:

  • Completion of a Master's level training program in clinical social work or mental health, or equivalent professional preparation, to produce:
  • Excellent diagnostic and evaluative clinical skills required to screen sometimes distressed or urgent therapy-seeking clients over the phone, or (rarely) in person
  • The ability to understand and manage the changing case-load needs and requests of ourclinicians
  • Skills for referring a client out to a different level of care or clinical service with skill and kindness
  • A passion for diversity, and possession ofawareness of the concept of cultural humility; willingto grow in ways that recognize and serve the deep needs for witness, welcome, and respect for our diverse client and team community
  • Possession of excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • The ability to thrive in a busy office, in which managing multiple stake-holders is a daily priority:
  • meeting our clients' complex needs, while supporting great jobs for our clinicians, and attending to the essential elements of a group practice is a key daily mission

  • This is a full-time, fast paced role. Compensation includes competitive salary with health insurance benefits, two weeks vacation/sick leave, and observed holidays. One additional week of vacation is added after one year.
