Clinical Director - Co-Occurring Mental Health/Substance Use Disorders Residential Program

Hope House Addiction has been awarded a contract for a NEW MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER RESIDENTIAL REHABILITATION TREATMENT PROGRAM for 16 men.

This new COE RRS 3.1 Program is integrated with Hope House, a traditional ASAM 3.1 Residential Recovery Home for up to 79 men.

Co-Occurring Enhanced Clinical Director:
The Co-Occurring Enhanced (COE) Clinical Director, i.e., Mental Health Disorder and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) is responsible for the clinical oversight of COE Case Management and Clinical Counseling services and Treatment to men in recovery from SUD / Addiction AND Moderate to Severe Mental Health Conditions.
The COE Clinical Director will oversee the planning, direction and day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of the COE program. The COE Clinical Director will provide clinical supervision & training and will deliver direct clinical services, including crisis intervention / management. They will supervise the Assistant Program Director / Recovery Specialist Supervisor and the Counselors and are responsible for the delivery of COE rehabilitation and clinical counseling services in compliance with agency standards, regulatory, accreditation and 3rd party contractual requirements.
The Clinical Director must have experience, competency, and/or training in both addiction and mental health. The Clinical Director / Supervisor must have experience in working with both substance use and mental health staff, including Recovery Specialists and Peer Workers, and is able to build staff capacity to treat both substance use and mental health disorders. The COE Clinical Director assists all staff in becoming proficient in evidence-based practices (EBP) and providing fidelity to the EBP models; the clinical supervision is focused on in-depth learning of assessment and treatment skill development...and documents that regularly scheduled clinical supervision occurs.
COE clients are reintegrating into the community and returning to social, vocation/ employment, and/or educational roles. Goal-oriented clinical services are provided in conjunction with onsite psychiatry and onsite medication management to support stabilization and development of skills necessary to achieve recovery.
Qualifications:
• LICSW with a MINIMUM of three years plus (3+) post-LICSW experience - both in direct services and in a supervisory role in a behavioral health environment, or
• LMHC with a MINIMUM of three years plus (3+) post-LMHC experience - both in direct services and in a supervisory role in behavioral health environment.
• The COE Clinical Director, to be considered for this position, MUST MEET EITHER OF THE 2 PREVIOUS QUALIFICATIONS to provide clinical supervision to licensure-track clinicians
• Third-party experience with insurance authorizations, quality and concurrent reviews and utilization management.
• Act in accordance with Hope House, Inc.'s Standards of Care at all times, including maintaining professional ethics, boundaries and client confidentiality while working from a strength-based perspective using clinical approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, and 12-step.
• Ensure adherence to program requirements.
• Experience with EHR.
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively as a member of a professional team.
• Other requirements include proficiency in the MS Office Suite, strong organizational skills and superb communication skills.
• Strong organizational, writing and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver clinical programming, including individual & group counseling and crisis intervention/management.
• Review treatment planning and other clinical documentation, such as assessments/diagnosis, treatment plans, referrals, e.g., psychiatric and medication, aftercare/discharge and follow-up service plans.
• In collaboration with Hope House Administrative staff, develop and revise, as necessary, all clinical policies and procedures to ensure contractual, regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Perform client record reviews, including weekly MDT audits of open charts and a monthly review of closed charts.
• Provide clinical supervision and supervise interns.
• In collaboration with the Accounting Department ensure that all 3rd party billing and contracts are current.
• Monitor and maintains DPH license(s), CARF Accreditation and all 3rd party billing contracts.
• Other Management and Clinical duties as assigned.
Bi-lingual / Bi-cultural a plus.

Salary: $65,000.00 to $72,000.00 /year.
