Primary Therapist

The Renfrew Center has been a pioneer in the treatment of eating disorders since 1985. As the nation's first residential eating disorder facility, now with 19 locations throughout the country, Renfrew has helped more than 75,000 women with eating disorders and other behavioral health issues.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy for both adults and adolescents; case management services.
  • Collaborate with referral sources and outpatient teams;
  • Communicate with insurance companies to ensure continued authorization of caseload;
  • Participate as an active member of the treatment team;
  • Maintain clinical documentation.

Education, Competencies and Credentials:

  • Masters Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling or related field required
  • LICSW, LMHC or PH.D is preferred. Experience working with patients who have eating disorders is strongly preferred but not required.

Hours: part-time 20 hours per week
