I often like to use Microsoft Word to print the large image file, so I can lay the image to full 8.5 x 11 paper size. I can center them and choose how much margins I want to have around images.
This time, I chosen 0 margin for left and right, .5 for top and bottom.
I inserted an image using Insert >> Picture >> From File. The size of images I had were 100KB to 200KB.
I put an image, then I hit "apple p" to print it out, then I deleted the image and do the insert again with different image. When I hit "apple p" to print it out again, it crashes. First time seems to be fine, but not second time.
Since I had 4 image files to print, I've tested 4 times. Every time, it happened except when I inserted small image - 24KB - it didn't crash.

Currently, Leopard is a bit confused. Here is my findings.
- Meeting Maker doesn't know when move the date through "schedule". It complains that it is past dates and can't schedule a meeting on past dates, even though I am scheduling for year 2008. Well, go check your email and go back to the same screen. Now it'll say "1990". Where did that come from?

- Meeting Maker FORGETs the agenda when other tabs are selected and go back to details. Once you have type your agenda in and clicks on tab either schedule or options, do not go back to details. This will cause it to loose agenda...
- MacFuse sshfs application crashes (http://code.google.com/p/macfuse/). Not only that, it actually managed to screw with transparency of docks...
After this, finder showed half iChat logo twice for Dictionary application.

In October Apple acknowledged a problem with the new silver iMacs freezing after an update was installed.
Not all silver iMacs need the update, click on the link below for more information:

Installed PalmOne Software on my laptop that is running Leopard 10.5.1.
The palm software installs, Hotsynch installs and my Palm M505 appears to synch. I get a log error at the end. My applications install, my ebooks works,
but my AddressBook and my Calendar do not synch. Actually my address book is kind of messed up now.
Palm knowledgebase and forums are as useless as ever, I don't think I have EVER found any helpful information on them. Except how to completely reset my palm.
But Apple had a good listserve post going:

Palm Boulevard (http://www.pdastreet.com/forums/) Has some useful information.

Mac OS X 10.5.1 Update was released last night. I am in the process of testing the update on a Simmons standard image. So far I have noticed no changes for the better or worse.
Here is the link to the update:
http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/macosx_updates/macosx1051upd...
Click here to see the specific details included in this update:
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=306907
Here are a couple of the significant updates/fixes
AirPort
Allows password-protected accounts on AirPort Disks to show up on in the Finder's Shared Sidebar.
Resolves an issue with saved passwords for wireless networks.
Disk utilities
Restores the functionality of the progress bar during permission repairs in Disk Utility.
Addresses an issue that could produce an alert when creating disk images using Disk Utility or Terminal.
Improves disk partitioning when multiple RAID sets are created on the same disk.
iCal
iCal alarms are now more reliably delivered via email.
Resolves an issue when inviting attendees via a CalDAV account.
Mail
Improves stability when resizing columns in the message viewer or switching between Stationery templates in email messages.
Addresses an issue in which attachments enclosed inside an HTML link may not be clickable in email messages.
Fixes an issue with email accounts added using the "Simple Setup" feature in which messages cannot be sent due to an SMTP connection failure.
Improves Smart Mailboxes compatibility with .Mac Sync, and addresses an issue with To Do's disappearing when using Smart Mailboxes.
Resolves an issue with syncing Mail accounts with .Mac in which multiple On My Mac folders appear in the Mailbox pane.
Networking
Addresses an issue in which Microsoft Windows shared folders may be read-only when connected via SMB.
I tested eLearning Web Dav:
I was able to "connect" and see the contents of the folder withing seconds.
Downloading was fairly quick, viewing from the Web Dav directory was OK, but deleting a file from the WebDav directory and trying to upload a file to the directory was incredible slow.
So, Web Dav is better, possibly useable depending on the users needs, BUT
not useable if you have to upload alot of files or files that are large in size.
I tested files from 6kb to 15 mb. More testing is needed.

Apple has released a new update to 10.4 (Tiger).
Link for PPC Combo updater:

Link for Intel Combo Updater: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/macosx_updates/macosx10411up...
Please note that this update upgrades the Safari browser to version 3.0.4. Simmons eLearning has not yet certified this browser for use. I have successfully tested the new version of Safari with the following Simmons online resources:
AARC, WebMail, eLearning (browser check fails but eLearning is useable), Kronos, Simmons IKON Webprint, Online Directories.
I have encountered no issues on Simmons Standard software with the new update. But here is a link to a Macfixit website detailing some issues noted:
