There are some interesting Mac tips in this December MacWorld article .
Before you try the "Dock and the Keyboard" tip, you will need go to System Preferences --> Keyboard & Mouse --> Keyboard. Check the box next to:
"Use all F1,F2, etc. keys as standard function keys
When this option is selected, press the fn key to use the
special features printed on each key."

Installed PalmOne Software on my laptop that is running Leopard 10.5.1.
The palm software installs, Hotsynch installs and my Palm M505 appears to synch. I get a log error at the end. My applications install, my ebooks works,
but my AddressBook and my Calendar do not synch. Actually my address book is kind of messed up now.
Palm knowledgebase and forums are as useless as ever, I don't think I have EVER found any helpful information on them. Except how to completely reset my palm.
But Apple had a good listserve post going:

This is one of the many reasons why I am not a fan of "upgrading' from one version of an Operating System to another. Successive upgrades can and do run into issues like this. Some are easily fixable some are not.
Mac OS X 10.5: Unable to log in to account after an upgrade install
Issue or symptom
You may not be able to log in with a user account that has a password of 8 or more characters and was originally created in Mac OS X 10.2.8 or earlier, after performing an upgrade installation of Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard (the default installation type).
This will effect "local" accounts only, not network authenticated accounted.
