Parallels Desktop for Macintosh
Posted by Janice Canero-Conklin
The makers of Parallels Desktop have announced that only the latest version of their virtualization software should be run in the new Mac OS Leopard. They cited a "list of issues" that they were working to fix, but did not explicitly list them.
Issues that I have experienced in Leopard running Windows XP in Parallels: -Unexpectedly quitting about every 5-10 minutes -No drag and drop capability between Parallels and Mac -Unstable ethernet connection on a laptop that has both wired and wireless ethernet capability. This was really annoying. By the time I could get a stable wired ethernet connection and tried to log into needed college resources, Parallels would quit.
A beta fix has been posted. Use at your own risk! Beta software is pre-release and is not supported by Parallels.

I have downloaded and installed it, but have not yet tested anything.
