Day Program Instructor (Developmental Disabilities)

We are looking for compassionate, caring, dynamic staff to provide services to clients living with developmental disabilities in Brighton. Working in day program setting, the Day Program Instructor will be responsible for providing services to adults with moderate to severe developmental disabilities who require assistance and training in personal care, communication and socially appropriate behavior. Other responsibilities include providing case management to 4 individuals, implementing DHSP goals and clinical programs, documenting data, progress notes and assessments.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.

To succeed in this role you will have good time management skills, good writing skills, strong organizational skills and a year of related experience. A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field is preferred, but experience may substitute for education . Candidates for this position must be at least 21 years of age and have held a valid US driver's license for a minimum of 1 year and be able to satisfactorily pass both a driving check and a CORI check.
