Clinical Director--Women's Residential Program

Oversee the clinical and administrative functions of Bridgewell's Johnson Street Residential Program. Ensure the provision of quality services in accordance with contractual, regulatory and organizational standards and requirements.

This program is a 28 bed inpatient program serving woman who suffer from the disease of addiction. The stigma of addiction along with mental health issues and other life challenges are extremely complicated to manage in early recovery. Many of the program participants were previously incarcerated and homeless.

A qualified candidate would be an individual who is empathetic, self-motivated, a strong problem solver and good at managing challenging staff. The individual needs to possess strong time management skills. The candidate must have experience managing both administrative and clinical environments and possess a strong working knowledge of the Department of Public Health Substance Abuse Recovery Home regulations. 


• Minimum of master's degree in related field and licensed to practice in Massachusetts as a social worker - LICSW, or Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor I - LADCI.
• Must have had at least five years of full-time, supervised clinical experience subsequent to obtaining a master's degree, two years of which must have been in an administrative capacity.

2. Strong leadership, management and problem solving skills,
3. Demonstrated ability to develop and foster positive relationships with funding sources and area health care providers.
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
5. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage an operating budget.
