Clinician - MSW, LCSW, LICSW

St. Mary's Center for Women and Children in Dorchester, Massachusetts is seeking a qualified, experienced, and Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidate for the position of Clinician.  St. Mary's Home is a residential program for pregnant and or parenting teens and their infants/toddlers.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a wonderful team in a very supportive environment. This position requires a licensed or license-eligible social worker with experience in residential treatment with children and/or adolescents and additional experience in following areas:

  • Clinical assessments
  • Case management
  • Individual and family therapy
  • Group work with teen mothers and families.
  • Collaborative experience with DCF is valued.

St. Mary's Home provides comprehensive trauma-informed services and parenting skills training to at risk teens who would otherwise be homeless or living in unsafe environments. The program provides individual, group, and family counseling. Program staff connects the teen mothers to supports in the community and help teens to develop healthy family and peer relationships. We help young women overcome past harm and discover their potential for joy and a better life. The program focuses on assisting young parents to learn independent living skills and achieve success in school so that they can become as self-sufficient as possible. We focus on strengthening families and preventing child abuse and neglect. We are a community-based and family-centered agency located near Upham's Corner in Dorchester, MA.

Qualifications:

Professional/Academic:

  • Must have MSW and pursuing LCSW or LICSW
  • 2+ years of case management experience
  • 2+ years working with teen population in a residential treatment setting preferred
  • Candidate will be bilingual in Spanish/English

Work Schedule: FT w/Benefits, T, Th, F 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; M, W 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
