Program Coordinator, Housing Access Collaborative Program

Serve in a leadership role on FamilyAid Boston a team whose goal is to assist homeless families' transition from a short-term shelter to permanent housing within defined time periods.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Provide consistent clinical and programmatic supervision of other team members, including MSW-level staff and graduate student interns.
• Assist the Director of Housing and Stabilization with the daily operations of the HAC program
• Provide direct clinical supervision to two HAC social worker/ case manager and one MSW intern
• Identify service gaps and emerging needs within client group and offer suggestions for program modification.
• Assist the Director of Housing and Stabilization in writing, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as needed
• Together with the Director of Housing and Stabilization, write grant applications and renewals for the HAC program
• Provide clinical case management to 5-10 families
• Provide ongoing case management services and follow-up services to clients through a transition..
• Develop and maintain regular contact with public and private agencies to coordinate effectively on behalf of the client.
• Represent needs of clients, staff, and agency at external meetings as appropriate.
• Assist in the development of clinical groups and lead or co-lead these groups as needed
• Input all required data into agency's electronic system and assist in maintaining database for all families in the program.
• Participate in supervision and other activities related to professional development as determined in supervision annual performance plan.
• Attend and participate in team, clinical, and staff meetings.
• Assume all other responsibilities as assigned.

Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours. Ability to work two weekdays from 10:30AM-7:00 PM with additional flexibility to accommodate the needs of the program and participants. 

Supervision: Reports to Director of Housing and Stabilization

Qualifications:
• LCSW or LICSW preferred with 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience working with homeless families.
• Bilingual Haitian Creole, Cape Verdean Creole or Spanish highly desired.
• Strong Clinical supervision and case management background preferred
• Ability to work with families/individuals from diverse social, cultural and ethnic backgrounds in a culturally sensitive, team oriented, and strength based approach.
