Clinical Supervisor needed at Boston Medical Center.

Provides direct supervision for the Adult Integrative Behavioral Health Clinical Social Workers and other master level clinical disciplines employed by Boston Medical Center in the Department of Psychiatry. Accountable for hiring, scheduling, supervising and completing performance appraisal process of all masters level clinical staff. Oversees the coordination of special projects and programs within the departments she/he covers. Will also utilize evidence based clinical techniques and theory, to consult on, assess, and intervene with high-risk patients and their families regarding the impact/amelioration of emotional and social problems. Provides direct clinical care through individual, couples, family and group therapy sessions when necessary.
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Massachusetts, required. Masters degree in Social Work required with a minimum of 3-5 years progressive experience in a healthcare setting. Demonstrated knowledge of evidenced based therapies; crisis management; clinical supervision; etc.
o Supervises assigned staff including training, delegating tasks, overseeing daily activities, mentoring, guiding through demonstration of best practices and offering opportunities for professional development.
o Coordinates and maintains the daily schedule for department coverage and reviews with Director and Clinical Supervisor as needed
o Assists with new hire set up, including orienting clinical social worker therapists to unit and campus. Coordinates cross training as needed.
o Oversees the coordination of special projects and programs within the department
o Assists Director and Senior Clinical Supervisor with hiring, scheduling, and provides input on performance appraisal process of all social work staff.
